Curriculum
Students are required by the state of Virginia to complete 7 sessions of behind the wheel instruction. Each session consists of 50 minutes of driving and 50 minutes of observation. At the end of each day students will be given feedback on their performance.
On the seventh session, students will be given their road test. Upon successful completion, the student will be issued a provisional license by the instructor. This provisional license is valid for 180 days from the student's eligibility date. Once the provisional license is issued, the student's permanent license will be issued by the Juvenile Domestic Relations Court, normally within three months of such eligibility date.
